When your pet is in need of urgent medical care, Sandy Paws Veterinary Clinic is here to help. Our experienced team provides fast and effective treatments for pets during medical urgencies. With our state-of-the-art clinic, in-house diagnostic testing and digital x-ray, our animal hospital can help when you and your pet need it most. We will always review options for your pet’s care and the associated costs with you before we move forward. Please note that our urgent care services are only available during regular clinic hours.

Signs of a Potential Urgent Care
- Severe bleeding
- Bleeding from the mouth, nose, rectum or in the urine
- Choking or difficulty breathing
- Inability to or pain during urination or passing stool
- Refusal to eat or drink for more than a day
- Known toxin exposure or poison consumption
- Seizures or unsteady walking
- Inability to move a leg or legs
- Signs of pain or severe anxiety
- Severe vomiting or diarrhea
- Swollen part of the body, especially the belly
- Wounds from a car accident or animal attack
- Difficulty birthing
